Reminiscence of the Rain

The reminiscence of the rain is a collage designed for orchestra, dancers and a phonogram. A writing is made of the 5 pieces: Prologue, Book, Old photography, Sin and Epilogue.

The Prologue presents a motive of the rain. It creates a mood for all the rest of the writing. The rain is like a refresher that revives the memories.

A fugue, played in the second part the Book, helps to unfold the memories and induced rain of the thoughts that were raised by the long ago read book.

The Old photography is not a nostalgia. It is a flow of pleasant noises… This piece of the writing shows how person’s thoughts start to rotate when finding the old, long unseen picture.

In the fourth piece the anatomy of the sin is tried to be reviled, tenuous line between proper value and our vices shown, emphasized fast conversion from good to bad. For the revelation many noises and confrontation of different collages is invoked.

The Epilogue is a generalization, the ending. One more time twanged rain closes the circle.

The Sky Washed Out

However, according to supreme creators of XX century – composer John Cage and choreographer Merce Cunningham, music and dance live their personal lives on the stage. They might go together, sometimes intersect, but might even do not meet. A choreographer used this postulate for showing her own interpretation of music and body plastic.

The action happens there and now. And this action becomes the object of the art. The identity of the performance is not fixed but the path is already marked in advance. A dancer must to lose contact with this path and a dictate of the time. This is a chance to distance, to choose a personal and critical course of his own scenario. From that moment the dancer is not repeating a given form anymore because he becomes the one who is creates the action.

In the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch seven great sins are not static moral conceptes anymore; it is not a view or text fixed by photographer, painter or historian; it becomes the experience of now and there.
