And you don`t always realize it,
But you`re always falling.
With each step you fall forward slightly
And then catch yourself from falling.
Over and over you`re falling
And then catching yourself from falling.
And this is how you can be walking and falling at the same time.

Dance performance “Interiors” was built in 2008 Autumn in Bonn by Czech choreographer living in Germany Karel Vanek. This dance project is made specially for the Baltic States of Culture year in Germany. While composing the play a lot of attention has been paid for improvisation. The main task was to reveal the individuality of the dancers, their movements, spatial sense of identity. “Improvisation is my main method of creation and the idea and concept of the performance originates in the creative process” – reveals Karel. In the performance sounds a music of a talented German composer, minimalism and experimental music artists Carsten Nikolai (also known as Alva Noto). A suggestion of the performance is strengthen by interesting Markus Becker lightning.
